Radio the way it used to feel.
There was a moment, somewhere between the first scratchy blues recording and the last guitar chord of the 20th century, when music stopped being background noise and became the story of who we are.
Free~Range~Radio was built to tell that story. Human-curated, commercial-free, and streaming a century of music from 1900 to 1999 to listeners worldwide. No algorithms. Not one song here was picked by a machine. A person picks every one, with a story behind it.
Why Free~Range?
Because music was never meant to be fenced in. The greatest artists refused to stay in their lane. Robert Johnson played the devil’s music. Hank Williams cried on a honky-tonk floor. Aretha Franklin brought the church to the charts. David Bowie reinvented himself until reinvention became the art.
We honor that spirit. We roam across genres, across decades, across the sonic borders everyone else respects and we were built to cross.
Seven days. One hundred years.
Each day of the week is a stop on a worldwide Sonic Journey: the blues of Monday, the twang of Tuesday, the big-city noise of Wednesday, the hits of Thursday, the thunder of Friday, the trip of Saturday, and the soul of Sunday. Follow it all the way around and you hear how one sound gave birth to the next.
It’s not random. It’s evolution.
It’s not a podcast. It’s a broadcast.
A Paradigm~Shift~Productions station. Beyond Sonic Borders. No algorithms, no fences, no fees. Broadcasting the century, one song at a time.
